MSU DOUG MEIJER MEDICAL INNOVATION BUILDING
GRAND RAPIDS, MI

Event and Personal Brand Photography

There’s been so much excitement about the MSU Doug Meijer Medical Innovation groundbreaking, but there was another groundbreaking that day that wasn’t in the news. Guests at the ceremony were able to use an augmented reality app, created by Carnevale, to take a tour of the new building which hasn’t even been built yet (expected in 2021). It is the first time augmented reality has been implemented at full scale, an entire city block! Guests walked through a full-sized hologram, lining up with downtown Grand Rapids perfectly.

You can view the building onsite at full scale or anywhere offsite at the scale of your choosing.
To download the app, visit msuhealthgr.com.

You may recognize the AR/VR Developer from my “Results” page, Lee McKenzie. (https://www.yourinfluencerimage.com/results#/arvr-developer/). Lead Developer and Innovator of this app, Lee continues to push through what has already been done into new worlds of possibilities. Unprecedented.

Partnership on this experience includes Rockford Construction, Walsh Construction, Secchia Center, MSU College of Human Medicine, Murphy Development Group (MDG), and SmithGroup.

Doug Meijer made a heartwarming speech regarding his personal medical journey, which proves how necessary the new facility is in regard to medical advancement.
Special guests at the ceremony included Mrs. Meijer and Mayor Rosalynn Bliss.
